About the role

We are seeking our first Senior Product Manager to join our team. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with company leadership to drive product success.

You will collaborate with engineering to drive the roadmap forward, execute quickly, and ensure we deliver value and delightful product experiences. While your primary focus will be getting things done, you will also collaborate with the CEO and the VP of Engineering on product strategy and prioritization.

You will drive cross-functional alignment behind the product strategy and work closely with other functional leads to drive successful product outcomes and deliver product experiences. From discovery through implementation, you will lay the groundwork for product management processes".

  • What you’ll work on Execute product vision and strategy and generate enthusiasm across the cross-functional team through creative problem-solving and ruthless prioritization.
  • Instill initial product management processes from discovery through delivery.
  • Work with design and engineering teams in (1) designing product solutions, (2) finalizing plans, (3) prioritizing solutions in upcoming roadmap, (4) resolving issues during build and test phases, and (5) launching product in a timely fashion.
  • Write product specifications and work with UX designer to build the mock-ups and with engineering to determine feasibility.
  • Work with engineering and quality assurance to build and ship the features.
  • Communicate and resolve issues, risks, and progress to all the stakeholders.
  • Monitor and measure launched products and feed learnings back into the product development process.
  • Engage with the social media manager, planner, and publisher community to understand their needs and challenges, translating insights into product features that enhance their social media marketing experience.
  • Conduct market research and user feedback analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvements.
  • Define and analyze key performance metrics to measure progress on our wider business objectives.
  • Use data, experiments, and intuition to inform your decisions for future improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to maintain our leadership position in social media management technology.

Must-haves
  • Minimum of 4 years of product management experience delivering highly successful products in a tech company.
  • Technical understanding must go from the highest abstraction to the most detailed level to facilitate a high-performing software development cycle.
  • Experience shipping user-facing self-service products and solutions that empower a magical user experience.
  • Ability to understand complex, technical topics and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, engineering practices, and the product development lifecycle.
  • Strong project management skills for cross-functional initiatives involving Engineering, Design, Marketing, Customer Success, and more.
  • Experience identifying user problems, sizing opportunities, prioritizing opportunities, and defining requirements for solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing, interpreting, and leveraging data to make product decisions.
  • Adept at translating technical ideas into delightful SaaS features, products, and improvements. Outstanding verbal and written communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required

Nice to Haves
  • Computer science undergraduate degree or relevant engineering degree plus hands-on software engineering experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a developer and/or building software.
  • Experience working with customers in related industries where a tool like our product is essential (social media, marketing technology, small to medium businesses, productivity tools, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of the social media landscape, including emerging trends, evolving customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
