Full Stack Software Engineer (Backend focus)

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer with a backend emphasis to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate has deep experience building scalable, secure systems using modern backend technologies (.NET, C#), while also possessing strong React capabilities for end-to-end feature development. This role is ideal for engineers who love designing resilient APIs, working with databases, and optimizing backend systems in a cloud-native, SaaS-first environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Systems Development: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using .NET (4.8+). The current application is written in .NET 4.8 or later, so you need to be comfortable with that framework.
   
• API Design: Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs with an emphasis on performance, documentation, and usability.
   
• Database Expertise: Optimize and manage relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL), write performant queries, and understand schema design for multi-tenant applications.
   
• Cloud-Native Architecture: Build and scale services using Azure (Service Bus, App Insights, Azure Functions, etc.) with cost-efficiency and resilience in mind.
   
• Frontend Integration: Collaborate on React/TypeScript components as needed to deliver full user flows and debug client-side issues tied to backend functionality.
   
• Design Patterns: Apply backend-focused software patterns and architectural principles for maintainability and testability.
   
• Mentorship & Code Quality: Provide guidance to teammates, conduct thorough code reviews, and uphold backend quality standards.
   

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including strong backend expertise.
   
• Proficiency in C#/.NET, with a solid foundation in React
   
• Deep understanding of cloud-first SaaS development.
   
• Strong knowledge of RESTful design, software architecture patterns, and system security.
