Role Overview
We are seeking a Content Strategist & Delivery Manager to lead our content implementation function and ensure successful delivery of Author-it projects for enterprise customers. This role combines deep content strategy expertise, hands-on implementation capability, and strong project leadership. You will manage a team of 2–3 implementation consultants while also acting as the primary strategic and delivery lead for major customer engagements.

This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the CEO, with significant influence on customer success, product adoption, and operational excellence across the business.

Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy Leadership
  • Design and guide enterprise content strategies and information architecture across diverse regulated industries
  • Lead the development and optimisation of content models, taxonomies, and metadata structures
  • Architect content flows, content reuse patterns, and multi-channel publishing strategies
  • Define content transformation strategies for legacy migrations and multi-system consolidation
  • Oversee all content-related deliverables across customer projects
  • Build and maintain content templates for industry verticals
2. Delivery & Implementation
  • Lead, oversee, and quality-assure the configuration and delivery of Author-it solutions
  • Manage solution configuration, integration, verification, and user acceptance testing
  • Develop and maintain Functional Configuration Specifications (FCS)
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables across all implementation phases
  • Provide expertise to resolve complex configuration and implementation challenges
  • Establish standards for internal and external partner implementation
3. Project Coordination & Financial Management
  • Oversee project administration across Projectworks, ClickUp, and Kantata
  • Mobilise projects, including scoping, resourcing, and onboarding
  • Ensure we are productive by tracking utilisation and rates
  • Manage SOWs, invoicing workflows, and financial tracking
  • Coordinate resource allocations across the implementation team
  • Prepare monthly internal and client-facing reporting
4. Project Management & Client Leadership
  • Define project strategy and delivery plans
  • Manage project timelines, risks, milestones, and stakeholder expectations
  • Lead customer relationships, including steering meetings and executive updates
  • Coordinate internal resources and external partners or system integrators
  • Ensure successful, on-time, on-budget project delivery with high customer satisfaction
5. Training & Enablement
  • Design training paths and content for online, hybrid, and self-service models to reduce time to value and improve retention of customers
  • Partner with internal teams to build a scalable LMS-based training experience
  • Produce and maintain reusable training assets across projects
  • Champion a scalable, repeatable enablement model that supports company growth
About You
  • Experienced content strategist or structured content expert, ideally in regulated or complex industries
  • Comfortable leading enterprise implementations in a SaaS or content-management environment
  • Strong project manager with experience running multiple customer projects concurrently
  • Technically capable, with familiarity in solution configuration, specifications, APIs, CSS, HTML, XSL-FO, or content tooling
  • Process-oriented, organised, and confident in managing administrative and operational workflows
  • Proactive leader who enjoys coaching consultants and improving delivery processes
  • Clear communicator who can engage effectively with executives, PMs, content teams, and technical stakeholders
Qualifications
  • 5–10+ years in content strategy, structured content, content operations, or related consulting roles
  • Experience with Author-it, DITA, component content management systems, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with project tools (e.g., Click-up, Projectworks, Kantata, SharePoint) is a strong advantage
  • Demonstrated success delivering enterprise SaaS or content transformation projects
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and stakeholder-management skills
