More than 1,000 agencies nationwide count on their AWARDS software to manage and bill for their services. AWARDS is ideal for virtually all human services, including Mental Health, Alcohol & Substance Abuse, Developmental Disabilities, Homeless & Housing, Employment & Training, Seniors, Youth & Family, and more.

Having originated from three agencies in 2000, AWARDS is a complete Electronic Health Record (EHR) that also supports administrative activities, including facilities maintenance, human resources, scheduling and alerts, audit reports, and automated billing.

AWARDS is fully interoperable with other federally certified systems for participation in Health Information Exchanges (HIE), and is the only record-keeping system that is certified as both a Behavioral Health EHR and a Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). 


Job Description:


We are looking for an innovative and driven Vice President of Sales to join our growing team. The VP of Sales charts the course, develops the vision, and implements the plan that will propel the company towards increased market share and greater brand recognition. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Sales will be a strategic thinker with proven leadership experience. Accountable for delivering measurable results that achieves and exceeds revenue and margin targets, this position will be capable of contributing meaningful insight to the sales and marketing functions and play an integral role in the overall development of the organization.

This is a fully remote position, with the opportunity for a hybrid work model for individuals that are in NYC or surrounding area.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and direct all sales strategy and activity

  • Managing brand awareness, developing strategic promotional plans, and preparingmarketing campaigns

  • Develop strategies and tactics for increasing market share

  • Develop and implement annual plans with KPIs and manage to monthly, quarterly andannual expense and revenue budgets

  • Develop and Manage Sales Channels such as OEM Sales

  • Preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts and reports

  • Tracking and analyzing marketing and sales data to formulate successful campaigns andensuring CRM is up to date

  • Provide leadership, direction and management to the marketing and sales team toensure exceptional service to all stakeholders and that produces market differentiation and competitive advantage

  • Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders, strategic partners and clients to research market needs and identify possible new product solutions

  • Maintain the highest quality of staff through effective recruiting, hiring, retention, coaching, succession planning and training.

  • Effectively manage and deliver required sales targets within the sales/marketing teams.

  • Train, evaluate and monitor employee performance goals.

  • Frequently meet with each of the team leaders and staff to review targets and areas offocus.Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of sales experience with a demonstrated track record of accomplishments

  • Previous sales executive experience with great track record of hiring and growing salesand marketing teams

  • Strong ability to sell products based upon customer need; excellent sales presentation skills; strong ability to overcome customer objections and concerns; ability to quickly learn new products and services

  • Strong ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally; excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong ability to develop long-term business relationships; strong listening skills; ability to interact with other departments to support the servicing of the customer

  • Strong ability to structure sales that meet the customers’ requirements including product specifications and price; and to resolve problems in a timely, efficient and complete manner

  • Ability to set up, monitor and maintain required KPI reports

  • Critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills. Team player with good time-management skills. Excellent track record of creating and executing various sales strategies and marketing campaigns, both for the short term and long term.

  • Proficient in financial analysis and establishing sales and marketing budget, action plans and KPIs
