We are looking for a thoughtful, well-rounded iOS Engineer to join a rapidly growing startup and work on an application that brands, influencers, celebrities, agencies and marketing firms are using every day. You will have the opportunity to take a leading role in our mobile engineering team, and have a huge impact on the applications, implementing new features, improving performance, and building beautiful user interfaces. Passion for social products and building great software with Objective C and Swift is a must!

What You Will Do:

• Deliver across the entire app life cycle for our native iOS applications – concept, design, build, test, and release to the App Store.

• Own our two native apps: one 100% Swift and one mixed Swift & Objective-C.

• Create compelling iOS-specific user interfaces and experiences.

• Collaborate closely with teams of engineers, designers, product owners, and cross-functional users.

• Own projects that have a significant impact on the business.

• Embody and encourage continual learning for yourself and teammates!

• Have a passion for your craft. You feel ownership over everything you ship!

Who You Are (Must have):

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of professional experience building software in Swift and/or Objective-C

• Passion for writing elegant, maintainable Swift and Objective-C that adheres to SOLID programming principles and Clean Code.

• Track record of publishing apps to the App Store.

• Deep understanding of a variety of iOS libraries & frameworks (UIKit, SwiftUI, some mix of Notifications/IAP/CloudKit/Core Data/Core Animation/MapKit etc).

• Dependency management via Cocoapods and/or Swift Package Manager.

• Experience with client/server architectures, API, syncing and caching patterns.

• Mobile application profiling, performance, and tuning (memory, CPU, battery life, data use).

• Experience working in a cross functional Scrum team.

• Experience using git with Bitbucket or similar

Bonus Skills and Experience (Nice to have)

• Continuous Integration setup and maintenance

• GraphQL

• Experience with working with image and video processing

• TechOps / infrastructure systems – Amazon Web Services, Chef and Jenkins.

• Deep understanding of the Social Media landscape.

• Experience with UI / UX.
