Summary
As a Product Manager, you’ll help shape and grow our fund accounting software, delivering an exceptional user experience for nonprofits. You’ll lead feature delivery, align our product to customer needs and mission, and play a pivotal role in enabling nonprofits to achieve their financial goals.
You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Customer Success teams to ensure we deliver meaningful impact to its users. This role demands strong execution skills, customer empathy, and a deep understanding of SaaS and accounting best practices.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision

Shape and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with customer needs and business goals.

Build and maintain a multi-year product roadmap while identifying strategic opportunities and potential risks.

Lead innovation in our fund accounting and reporting capabilities by by creating features that help nonprofits seamlessly monitor and run their finances.
Customer-Centric Product Development

Lead user research and interviews to deeply understand customer workflows, pain points, and objectives.

Create and prioritize clear product requirements, user stories, and use cases.

Partner with the Engineering Manager of your team to help guide and unblock the engineering team and answer product questions.

Work closely with Design to deliver intuitive, high-impact solutions.
Execution & Delivery Excellence

Guide Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

Direct the development and launch of new features, integrations, and platform improvements.

Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Leadership

Bridge communication between internal teams to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.

Work with Marketing to develop compelling messaging for new features and capabilities.

Foster cross-functional collaboration with Raisely and Keela to drive innovation across the nonprofit sector.
Qualifications
Experience
-
2+ years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of accounting best practices

2+ years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS, or online accounting
-
Track record of successfully leading product lifecycles—from initial research through delivery and continuous improvement
Skills & Competencies

Technical aptitude with the ability to analyze and simplify complex systems and workflows

Demonstrated success in conducting user research and turning insights into meaningful product improvements

Outstanding communication skills, with proven ability to align and influence cross-functional teams

Proficiency with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira, Linear, or similar platforms

Self-motivated and adaptable, with a strong ability to learn independently and work effectively with minimal guidance.
The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 CAD per year. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This is in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
