We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head of Quality Assurance to ensure the highest standards of quality for our desktop web and mobile web applications, with a focus on gaming technology.
Job Description:
As the Head of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive QA strategies and processes. You will lead a team of QA professionals to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and user experience. This role is crucial in delivering a polished, bug-free product to our users and maintaining our reputation for excellence in the gaming industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement QA strategies, methodologies, and best practices for web and mobile applications

Build and lead a high-performing QA team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement

Create and oversee test plans, test cases, and testing schedules for all product releases

Implement and manage automated testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and coverage

Collaborate closely with development, product, and design teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the development lifecycle

Establish and monitor quality metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports to leadership

Manage the bug tracking process, ensuring proper prioritization and resolution of issues

Stay current with industry trends in QA, particularly in gaming and web technologies

Advocate for quality across the organization and educate teams on QA best practices

Participate in product planning and feature prioritization to ensure quality considerations are addressed
Requirements:

5+ years of experience in QA leadership roles, preferably in poker or game development

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices for web and mobile applications

Experience with game testing and familiarity with common issues in game development

Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts

Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
In the U.S., the salary range for this position is $175,00-$240,000 per year. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
