As part of this ecosystem, we have the opportunity to partner with dozens of vertically focused SaaS businesses and their teams in a communal effort to offer the best software on the market.

Job Description:
We are looking for a Manager of Sales & Marketing to join our growing team. You will be responsible for charting the course, developing the vision, and implementing the plan that will propel the company towards increased market share and greater brand recognition. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Manager of Sales & Marketing will be a strategic thinker with proven sales experience and an excellent ability to execute. Accountable for delivering measurable results that achieves and exceeds revenue targets, this position will be capable of contributing meaningful insight to the sales and marketing functions and play an integral role in the overall development of the organization. You’ll get to work closely with and get to know our customers—all of whom are food banks with a central focus on helping people in poverty. This is a fully remote position.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and direct all sales strategy and activity

  • Manage our marketer and guiding them in developing and running our marketing strategy

  • Develop strategies and tactics for increasing market share

  • Develop and implement annual plans with KPIs and manage to monthly, quarterly and annual expense and revenue budgets

  • Track and analyze marketing and sales data to formulate successful campaigns and ensure CRM is up to date

  • Provide leadership, direction and management to the marketing and sales team to ensure exceptional service to all stakeholders and that produces market differentiation and competitive advantage

  • Maintain the highest quality of staff through effective recruiting, hiring, retention, coaching, succession planning and training.

  • Effectively manage and deliver required sales targets within the sales/marketing teams

  • Work closely with other members of the leadership team to ensure cross-team collaboration

  • Achieve personal and team sales targets

Knowledge and Skills:

  • 5+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated track record of accomplishments

  • Previous sales executive experience with great track record of hiring and growing sales and marketing teams

  • Strong ability to sell products based upon customer need; excellent sales presentation skills; strong ability to overcome customer objections and concerns; ability to quickly learn new products and services

  • Strong ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally; excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong ability to develop long-term business relationships; strong listening skills; ability to interact with other departments to support the servicing of the customer

  • Ability to set up, monitor and maintain required KPI reports

  • Critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills. Team player with good time-management skills. Excellent track record of creating and executing various sales strategies and marketing campaigns, both for the short term and long term.
